General test suite

These test files have been provided to assist in the development of software being written to handle the JCAMP-DX format. 

These files do not always comply 100% to the written standard but do represent files commonly found - they do not claim to cover all possible allowed variations but are a good starting point to test your software.
If you cannot read these files then something is very wrong!

It is a good idea to check your displays against the original peaktables provided to ensure you are importing correctly.
testdata.zip (700,506 Bytes) contains: 

• Infrared Data according to JCAMP-DX 4.24 protocol
• NMR data produced according to the JCAMP-DX 5.0 for NMR protocol
• MS data produced according to the JCAMP-DX 5.0 for MS protocol

Data from the LISMS conference

Various test data files in JCAMP-DX, netCDF and Molfile format were collected as part of a manufacturer interoperability study at the 1996 LISMS conference in Warwick England. These files can be found here:
